This year we celebrate our 14th anniversary as a New Forest cycle hire business. We are confident therefore that we know what it takes to make a great family cycling day out and how to provide professional cycle hire.
Come and enjoy what our visitors tell us are the most enjoyable New Forest cycle routes in this beautiful area. This year, we have a total of nine enjoyable routes close to the Cycle Centre, including superb off road circuits and a further choice of lovely trails, leafy lanes and magnificent bridleways. Our varied routes enable you to discover breathtaking scenery on rides for all ages and abilities.
Free Parking
Why add extra cost to your day out! We are the only quality cycle hire centre in the New Forest that offers completely free parking just yards away. This will save you up to £5 a day compared to other locations. Please park in the gravel car park just above the village, on the opposite side of the road to Burley School, to take advantage of this saving.

Prices include helmets, backpack, pump, lock & toolkit, puncture resistant tubes and a mobile mechanic backup.

Conditions of Hire
- A deposit must be left without exception
- 2 items of ID required per party
- The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage
- Children under 16 must be booked out by an adult

Dog trailer
Our rugged dog trailers can give your dog a welcome rest on longer rides. Fully enclosed with clips for securing to a lead or collar.
Trailer Buggy (0-5 years)
This is a comfy buggy that allows you to tow two children up to around 4 years old each, or one baby secured in their own car seat. We only use top quality trailers, which are extremely light and have two layer covers to make them fully weatherproof if required.
Must be hired with an adult cycle.
Tag-a-long (3-7 years)
A simple single wheel device that is towed by an adult. This allows a child aged 3 to 7 years of age to accompany an older rider and enjoy a ride of any length without necessarily needing the balance required on a bike of their own - the adult provides that. Your child can however help you up those hills by pedalling, but can freewheel when they need a rest!
Must be hired with an adult cycle.
Child Seat (1-4 years)
An attachment that clips onto an adult cycle, behind the rider and provides a seat for a young child from 9 months to 5 years approx. We only use top quality Co - Pilot child seats that secure to a strong pannier type rack and we believe they are the safest on the market.

24" Wheel Cycle (7-11 years)
A cycle suitable for children aged 7 to 11 years approx. Again we always use quality lightweight aluminium childrens cycles from Giant, Mongoose and Dawes and all feature easy to use gears and smooth but powerful brakes. This type of bike is the last step before a small adult cycle.
20" Wheel Cycle (4-7 years)
A cycle suitable for children aged 4 to 7 years approx. Ideal as long as your child does not need stabilisers, these quality cycles all have lightweight aluminium frames and are easy to handle with a minimum of gears and smooth but powerful brakes.
Tandem
As the name suggests, these are bicycles made for two and are great fun on our forest trails. They provide something different for your day out and feature aluminium frames, powerful brakes and comfy saddles.
Our tandems have low back frames, ideal for a passenger above 4 ft in height and also for guiding a less able companion.
Premium Suspension Cycle
These cycles are our most popular hire fleet items and are either mountain bike or hybrid in style. Mountain bikes have a more sporty riding position whereas hybrids provide a more upright stance whilst still being safe and capable off-road and on gravel tracks.
We use only quality models from brands such as Giant, GT and Mongoose, all of which have light aluminium frames, front suspension, powerful 'V' or disc brakes, all purpose tyres and most importantly a plush saddle!
